Whether it be strictly informational or a full-blown shopping cart, it has the power to not only reach your desired audience and generate online sales, but to bring people to your brick & mortar storefront, as well. Let’s face facts; some kind of web presence is mandatory in today’s global market. Without it, you are starting your career a step behind your peers. The easily accessible technology of today empowers the individual to create the foundation on which his or her own future is built. By learning and applying the basics of web self-promotion you give yourself the opportunity to truly present who you are directly to your target market. The quaint notion of the ‘starving artist’ is not so quaint when you are the artist that is starving. The truly successful artist is one who applies their creativity not only to their art but in how they market themselves, as well. Helping you learn how to do that is the goal of this module.
