Our Facilities...

All of our beadmaking classes are taught on new Nortel Minor Bench Burner torches which operate using an oxygen and propane mix. Each student is assigned their own work station and torch setup.

Each work station is equipped with all necessary tools, including the following:

Light-filtering safety goggles, mandrels of assorted widths, graphite paddles, graphite marble moulds, torch-mounted graphite pad, BBQ mashers and tested-safe vermiculite substitute for cooling your beads. (fiber blankets are also available upon request)

Our kiln is available for annealing your beads once your work is done.

We also offer an ever-expanding selection of Effetre/Moretti glass rods from which to choose. We purchase 100 kilos (220 pounds) at a time directly from the Venetian island of Murano. Living in Italy does have its' perks!

If you take one of our instruction packages your glass is provided for that class, as are all necessary materials. Afterwards, however, remember that all students receive a 10% supply discount valid for use at both Glass Works and BeadedLily. This includes glass rod purchases.

Along with functionality, our space is also comfortable, casual and wonderful. We have a revolving art program that keeps our backdrop ever-changing, a monthly film festival and assorted craft and photography projects that keep us on our toes.

We are fortunate to be in such a marvelous location. Just outside our front door you will find charming old world streets filled with artisans, cafes and restaurants. Curious? Stop on by and say hi!
